  • Hello... this is Jerry Parr. I did a Wheelock practicum at Agassiz in 1976!!! I still tell stories of those days and remember Kathy and Allen (my sponsor teachers)! Nearly thirty years later I am still in early childhood education but now as a consultant living in Mississippi (but moving to New Hampshire this summer). I'll stop by and show my 9 year old daughter where daddy got his start...

  • Hello. My name is Sandra and I´m from Brazil. I was Caeli nanny in 1997 and I used to play with her and all kids from Agassiz. I had a great time and learned a lot with the kids and the teachers(Jackie,Richard,Betty). Nowadays I teach kids and I always tell them about my enriching experience at Agassiz!
You will be in my heart!

  • Andres (96-98) is in 5th grade in Alameda, California. He swims on the Alameda Ala-gator swim team (year-round, outdoors) and plays soccer in the fall and baseball in the spring. He will be visiting Cambridge from Feb 22-26 -hopefully he can see some old Agassiz classmates! (although I think Mom- Holly has stronger memories than he does).

  • Hi eveyone, it's Frederic from Belgium, I took care of Ryan and Caelin in 95-96. I had a lot of fun playing with all the kids, especially soccer, bouncing the ball on my head. I think Mari year of 1995 will remember me, if you are the same Mari as I knew at the time!
Agassiz will always be part of me!
    I am now 32 and I became a teacher.
    Frederic, Belgium, 95-96.

  • I remember playing in the sandbox with my friends and playing with toy dinosaurs in the Middle Group area. And swinging on the swings.

I wish there could be a reunion for my group at someone's house.

I'm in 7th grade at the King Open School in Cambridge. I am still friends with many of my former classmates at Aggasiz. I love my school, but wow, would it be fun to have a day like Agassiz- just play in the yard, nap, eat...

  • Mattie Glenhaber (2003) is at the Unidos two-way bilingual school in Somerville. So far her experience is mixed, after the leniancy and affection of Agassiz--the low point so far has been when the music teacher informed her that "we don't show our emotions at school"....

  • Jamie G. Fortoul, Agassiz Class of 2001
Jamie is in pre-K at Cambridge Friends School where he sees fellow Agassiz alum Jack English-Cooper. Jamie's asleep now so he'll have to add his own comments later. Let's hear from other alums.
