Our Multicultural Community
The diversity of the Cambridge community contributes to the character and quality of Agassiz Preschool. Agassiz has always attracted a number of visiting international families as well as residents from Cambridge's own multi-ethnic community. It is not uncommon to have more than a dozen different cultures represented among our membership in any one year. Whatever a family's origins, whatever a family's socio economic status, whatever a family's language or heritage, whatever a family's race or religion - all families are welcome at Agassiz. We encourage alternative families to apply. The staff has extensive experience with children for whom English is not a first language, and the school community is always enriched by the diversity of perspectives and skills offered by our co-op member families.
