SSOOOO Proud of my Kiddos!
The Oldest Group went on our own field trip today. The parents and I rounded up our 4 year old troops and headed to Boston Common. We had an awesome T ride and the kids had an absolute blast on the playground at Park Street! As the adults froze like statues, the Oldest Groups kids could not have been more happy to be outside with their friends. After eating a snack and letting me take a ba-zillion pictures of them scampering about, we headed over to the Frog Pond for ice skating. I can honestly say I have never been so proud. Not only did all of the Oldest Group kids put on ice skates, many for the first time, but they had a ball on the ice. Clinging to the wall and/or their nearest adult, the kiddos fell all over the place, while also learning to master their balancing skills. The coach in me definitely came out as I tried to teach them how skating is actually very similar to riding a scooter. Nonetheless, all of my kids tried something that was foreign to them, and I am very thankful that they overcame their nerves. Their laughs could be heard from miles around
High Five Oldest Group!
