Trains are more fun than…well, anything

23 Oct 2009

We took the kids over to the Porter Exchange parking lot today for a surprise. The had no idea why we were there. We walked over to the fence by the railroad tracks and that was exciting enough for alot of them. Then the commuter rail train came by and the kids all started jumping up and down. Some of them called it “the purple line.” We talked about the people on the train and where they might be going to – school, work, home…They got a real kick out of it.

In continuing with our Halloween preparations, we also made spiders out of different colored paper and glued things to them. The kids brought the spiders home, hopefully they will see their pumpkin friends there…
