Snack Guide
Agassiz is a completely nut free zone. Read ingredients carefully to make sure that there is NO wheat, egg, nuts, oranges, or lemons. Do not bring in any food items which states “May contain traces of.” Allergies can be life threatening so be absolutely sure before buying.
Families bring snack to school once every six weeks. Please bring snack between 8:30 and 9:00. There is no need to peel or cut in advance. All dry goods will be supplied by Agassiz.
Monday
- 2 gallons of water
- Sunflower butter
- Bananas: 3 large or 4 medium-sized bunches
Tuesday
- 2 gallons of water
- Cheese (cheddar only): 2 blocks
- Vegetable (pick one)
- Carrots: 2 bags (full size carrots only)
- Celery: 2 bags
- Sugar-snap peas: 1 lb
- Corn on the cob: 25
- Cucumbers: 25
Wednesday
- 2 gallons of water
- Jam
- Fruit (no grapes)
- Apples/Pears: 15-20
- Bananas: 3 large or 4 medium-sized bunches
- Kiwi: 8
- Melons: 3
- Watermelon: 1 large
- Plums/Apricots: 20-25
Thursday
- 2 gallons of water
- Cream Cheese
- Fruit
- Apples/Peaches/Pears: 15-20
- Bananas: 3 large or 4 medium-sized bunches
- Kiwi: 8
- Melons: 3
- Watermelon: 1 large
- Plums/Apricots: 20-25
Friday
- 2 gallons of water
- Hummus
- Vegetable (pick one)
- Carrots: 2 bags (full size carrots only)
- Celery: 2 bags
- Sugar-snap peas: 1 lb
- Corn on the cob: 1/2 cob per child
- Peppers (red, orange, or yellow): 10 – 12
